R.I.P. Nujabes

Sorry to devote one full post for something totally unrelated but... One of my favourite "Trip Hop" DJs, Seba Jun a.k.a. Nujabes has passed away sadly enough last February and they have only disclosed his death last week. I'm a huge admirer of his works. He was a great producer that samples some really sick beats. Truly a great, great, great artist!... I never saw the day he and Kanye West collaborated together.

If you guys have never heard of Nujabes or his music, you guys should check him out! If you're a hip-hop fan like me, you will find some of the best sampling of music ever remixed.

I was surprised how the colours turned out on this one. And yes, this piece is indeed inspired by the bara manga short "Foreign Toy" by Takeshi Matsu. :p

Also, his yukata design is from an illustration by Kinu Nishimura for the 20th Anniversary Street Fighter cover for Famitsu Magazine. :p

Boy, how many times did I had to edit that tiny magazine there just so it could get approved at Y!Gallery... They're nuts about small showings of female boobage. It has bishies now instead.

PS. Out of all the hunky men I've drawn in Y!, I would have to say this guy is my favourite.

I've got no idea what was going through my mind when I tried to do this tentacle-fest sexploitation piece. I kinda want to take tentacle porn for a spin.

The piece that took forever to edit. But it's good that people ended up liking it. But I still have a few more major gripes I wanna change with it. Meh!

I even added a ton of Japanese characters in to make it look Japanese! Ha!

Yeah, you guys would most likely get the title of this piece if you've seen Little Shop Of Horrors. I just loooove the music in that film. Viva Alan Menken!!! This was meant as a Halloween piece.
